I know most people are proud of where they live, but I do think (like most Yorkshire folk), that this is Gods own county lol

Middleham castle on Saturday

I spent a great afternoon driving around North Yorkshire with my brother Richard. We went to an auction to buy some classic Mouseman furniture, but he got out bid on everything, lol.

Richard took the opportunity to take me to visit a castle I hadnt been to before; Middleham. Beautiful!

Snow day in Harrogate

Its been snowing!!

It doesnt do it often enough, so I grabbed my camera and started snapping.

These new mobilephone
cameras are great. You can capture amazing pictures instanly. Cool stuff!

So here are a few photos that were on my phone. Includes a Catherine Wheel at my brothers Bonfire Night party, A straight Flush I had in poker (surely the most beautiful thing ever!), and a couple of sunsets taken from my car when driving, lol

No joy at the White Rose poker tournament

There is a 2 weekly/monthly poker club in Harrogate. £10 muti Tourney, about 70 to 100 players. Not done too well but did get down the 11th last time so thought I was improving, but not this week. My three Aces w/King got killed on river (last card) when an 8 came down making his pocket 88's into a Full House, which of course beat my three Aces w/K. :(

Poker....She is a cruel mistress.
