Funny, the first thought that came to mind on seeing the photo and before reading the description, was - "Giger". The style is so recognizable. How about a Giger-esque House of Commons, with the speaker's chair looking something like this? I mean,such architecture would be very fitting for the creepy blood suckers that they are (boom boom).
